Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Work closely with developers and business analysts to understand functional and technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium, Appium, or similar tools.
- Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent tools.
- Implement and execute performance, load, and stress testing using JMeter or similar tools.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms.
- Ensure CI/CD integration with automation tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Stay updated with the latest testing trends, tools, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 2-6 years of experience in automation testing.
- Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver, Appium, and test automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and test management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in cloud-based test automation using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
- Understanding of security and accessibility testing.
